Denise has been an attorney seeking justice in the Cook County community as a trial attorney for the past eighteen years. She has worked for the American Bar Association in their ethics department and as a Prosecutor for both the City of Chicago and the Cook County State's Attorney. Denise is currently a small business owner managing her own law firm in downtown Chicago. Denise has handled hundreds of domestic violence, misdemeanor and felony cases. Having spent the past 18 years in courtrooms as both a prosecuting and a defense trial attorney Denise is uniquely qualified to bring intelligence, fairness and honesty to the bench as a Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County.
In 2005 Denise joined together with several other prominent female criminal defense trial attorneys to create The Women's Criminal Defense Bar Association. As a founding member of this bar association Denise has helped to successfully support other female attorneys in their law practices as well as focus on women's issues in the community through fundraising and mentoring young female attorneys new to the practice of law . Denise is also a member in good standing with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Denise is an advocate of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Chicago where she met her own little sister ten years ago last September. Mentoring continues to be a rewarding experience as her little sister passes into adulthood.
Denise has long been believed that the practice of law seeking the administration of fair, impartial and equal justice is among the highest of human endeavors. Denise commits to these ideals as she seeks election to the bench. Denise's experience, integrity and temperament make her qualified to be Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
